The 40D Duck...

i am starting to guess that the D in 40D stands for duck. since everyone who has one had posted a picture of a duck..well here is mine. it was swimming in a pond on the corner of central park on 5th ave and 58th. and C+C would be great..i will post more pics for C+C i want to learn

Nice shot, but it looks a little underexposed to me (especially around the head - can't see any eyes at all). What lens?

I am a little suspicious about your "purple" duck (is it real or is it a decoy), but we will let you get by this time. ;)

It is an unwritten forum "rule" that any major purchase mentioned must be accompanied by a duck to make it official. Otherwise, you might be subjected to shunning and ridicule. :)

Just kidding and welcome. Everything that I have heard about the camera has been very good.

be harsh...i am just learning...i had a rebel xt...and traded it in for a 40D (thank you bestbuy)

and let me see if i can find a better pic of the duck...and yes it is real and so was the duck droppings all around
