Ok here are some Meerkats from the Lowery Park Zoo visit on Friday.

I'm a big fan of Animal Planet's Meerkat Manor and absolutely adore these little creatures. Lovely shots, fellow Welshman:D (well I'm 1/4 Welsh, and living in the Bahamas now)

Thank you for the kind words Elizabeth, MDoc (Ray) and I were also commenting on Meerkat manor as I was taking these shots.

I've been in the Bahamas for 25 yrs. Never heard of Lowery Park zoo, where is it located?

My grandmother was from Nantymoel in the Ogmore Valley, Glamorgan.

Lowery Park Zoo is located in Tampa, it's quite a nice place.

(I'm originally from Brecon, small town to the North in the County of Powys
Merthyr Tydfil is to the south approx 25 miles and Cardiff and Newport are 44 miles to the South, they are located in the County of Mid Glamorgan).
