Hmm...

the overall rotated-ness of this picture is kinda strange for an aircraft picture, no? it reminds me of the ricer super diagonal car pictures. I guess that's what makes it unique, right? Is it the lighting that does it for you, or otherwise, what makes you like this so much? (I ask because ive never understood the diagonally composed pictures and am trying to learn what others see in them)
I probably wouldn't compare the subject of this photo to some kid hard parking his Honda Civic but since you asked...I just like how the smoke shows the direction and attitude he's moving in. His routine is largely spent cheating the abilities of his aircraft and I guess that's what I was trying to show here. I've often made comments to friends about the 'gravity defying' photos of their cars (diagonal as you called it). I'll simply say that aircraft do a better job of it than cars do.
I said I liked it which doesn't mean I expect others to as well
