Being able to shoot at those short focal lengths makes the prop blur shots easier too, I guess? Love the sunlight hitting the prop in #2, looks great.

Not so much the shorter focal lengths (although that does help) but the lack of relative motion between camera and subject and very smooth air are the biggest contributing factors.

B-17 = 42mm @ 1/160
P-51 = 105mm @ 1/125
A-36 = 28mm @ 1/125
