I didn't want to hijack Matt's "Best Sunset Shot" thread so I posted my own thread.

I'd like to see what you guys can do with your cameras with the absence of natural light. Here's one of my car with sulfur street lights, "Painting" with a high-powered flash light, a long exposure and a lot of trial and error.

Post your best night shot and give tips on what you did to get the shot.

Just a few! The orange Batlground Engineering drift car, seen at the Konig booth at SEMA, was done with the kit lens (lol!) and the 350z and BMW 2002 were both shot with the 300mm F/4.0L, I'll post a few more later using both the 300mm and the 50mm F/1.8...

This was with a Tamron 18-250. There was a flash fired twice during a 15sec exposure:

HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'image/gif' | Byte size: ZERO | PHOTOBUCKET ERROR IMAGE


This was on top of a parking garage at the University of Toledo during a 5 sec exposure with my old A75:

Ow My, some of these photos are truly amazing!

Disboifan that BMW shot is so simple. but so cool!!! what lighting are people using on shots such as these. Flash guns a presume?
