Shutter Speed 400d

Hi everyone,

was just windering if it is possible to increase the shutter speed of a 400(XTi)? I know you can out it to 30 seconds but can you make it stay open longer?

You will have to set it to Bulb, 'B', and then hold open the shutter manually.

You don't have to hold your finger on the button; you can use a remote or cable release.

If you're shooting night skies the stars will require long exposures.
