This Cooper's hit this pigeon in the middle of the City Square in mid air right in front of my truck! After the hit they both lost height and were less than 4 feet.
I followed after getting the single finger wave from two guys I cut off trying to make the turn to follow. Third place it landed was a charm - in the sun! 500 handheld (no BushHawk in the Downtown) - Bob

Ah, the one fingered truckers salute. Looks like the Coopers had an issue with those guys.

"I followed after getting the single finger wave from two guys I cut off trying to make the turn to follow." Was that you?

Great shot, even if you had to cut those guys off.

Well it certainly was worth the hassle to get this fabulous shot Bob. Next time take the bush hawk down town and wave it at those inconsiderate drivers....they'll get out of your way quickly :) Great detail and perfect capture of the Coopers Hawk.
