We took this picture back in 2000.

One person died in our house and another died in the backyard. Ever since we moved in in 1992, there have been hundred of weird occurances. My mom was dressed up to goto a work halloween party, we took a picture of her and this is how it came out.

There wasnt anything for a flash to reflect off of, and it looks almost like smoke in the picture and it looks kind of like a reflection of something, but why would it go through the picture like that? This was taken with an older (non SLR?) Canon film camera.

Light leak causing the film to fog? :)

The lower part of the fog has a pattern to it. It reminds me of a car buffer abrasion when you put too much pressure on the unit. I think something got caught somewhere along the line and spun across the negative.

Funny that you would think this is a ghost. Why would a photochemical reaction "see" something that your eyes could not? In order for the film to record an image, light must first hit the object and bounce through the lens and onto your film. Standard photographic film does not record light outside of the visible spectrum. Given the amount of non-visible (by humans) light, if film could see beyond the visible spectrum, all of our images would be washed out by the non-visible stray light.

Got any "Orb" photos? I'd love to discuss dust specs, poor optics, and water spots with you.

Come on, anyone can clearly see that it’s a Elvis’ ghost.

I refuse to believe in obscure paranormal phenomena until psychics start winning the lotteries.

The most common "ghosts" captured by cameras are camera straps and dangling jewelry. This image is strongly suggestive of a bracelet, necklace, or similar beaded or linked object.

Holy cow, you're right. The repeating pattern in the "fog" is light reflecting off of a chain or a string of beads.

I learned photography at the end of a belt...

"Bill! I told you not to screw up this photo!"
"I didn't. Honest. It's... It's... It's a GHOST! Mom! We I got a picture of a ghost on camera."
*SMACK* "Boy, how many times I gotta tell you not to let your camera strap hang in front of the lens." *SMACK* "That ain't no ghost, Bill." *SMACK* "That's your brains leaking outta your head." *SMACK*

I think this is the same thing I have in my house. I haven't seen it, but I know it's there because it always leaves the milk on the counter, the lights on in the bedrooms, wet towels on the floor and puts crumbs in the butter. Certainly no one else takes credit for any of these strange goings on. :)

Funny, the ghost in my house leaves the seat up, eats the remaining cookies, and plays Playstation 3 all night.

That's just the friendly poltergeist known as "Not Me." He lives in every house with more than one person, especially those with children.

He also lives in the "Family Circus" comic.

He is not only unidentifyable, he is unphotographable. In fact, no direct evidence of his existance has ever been captured, though he leave indirect evidence constantly.

The ghost in my house leaves stinkies all over the place. At least my wife tells me it's a ghost, or sometimes the dog. ;)
