LOL. Just sold my 50 and 85 to get the 50L 1.2. It's a vicious cycle, isn't it?!

Don't. You have some awesome lenses and the 50 1.4 and 85 1.8 are just as awesome. I know I'll miss the 85 1.8, but I had to make a decision on what I was using and wanted most, so I'm now down to one lens. If I could afford a 5D, which I can't, I would've definitely gotten the 85L. Again, I'm not made of money. ;) Want to also add that I've gone bonkers with lenses. Had just about everything after cashing out some stock a few months back. Now look at me. I've wound up with the same 30D and one new lens. I'm not complaining b/c it was obviously my own fault. But sometimes life's lessons are expensive, lol.

i went through a similar ... but not as harrowing experience as yours. i got my kit just the way i want it. i might upgrade to the 16-35 later on but for now, im quite happy with what i have. i have the best of both worlds with the 5D and the 30D, 3 Ls covering a range from 17mm-448mm (that includes the 1.6x crop and my 1.4x TC :) ) and 3 primes that will do low light and macro -- what more can i ask for?!? LOL!!! I SHOULDNT SAY THAT!! hahahaha!!
