Wow!

Most compacts can't even compete with a lens that short, its cell phone territory.

Guys...the 4.5mm fisheye is the same as the standard 8mm fisheye on full frame. It's good that there's one for crop cameras, but it's not exactly unheard of ground before. It's great for those who need or enjoy circular fisheyes, but they hold no excitement for me. Diagonal fisheyes, on the other hand:

I see this the instant after I placed my order for my Tokina 10-17 fisheye zoom. That's okay, though, as I have already tried the Tokina, and I love it, and the ability to zoom with it is pretty darn cool. Good for Sigma though to add another choice to this segment.

Super sweet! Props to Sigma for having the stones to make a superwide fisheye just for APS-C bodies. Rock on!

This is why I like Sigma. They pay attention to the crop market - unlike our favorite camera maker.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Cool. If they are as sharp as my Sigma 15mm..... Prices? And, will they mount on a Canon 1.3x body?

The 4.5mm fisheye is a very specialized lens so I've no interest in it but the 10mm f2.8?
Now I'm drooling. Can it be? Wigma and me depart?
For a 10mm f2.8 hell yea!

P.S. Oh wait, both are fish eyes!!! OK, wigma and I will not part ways.

Folks remember, only Canon makes the EF-S mount. So these DC lenses have EF mount and will fit any Canon with an EF mount. So on a FF, the 4.5 should be a circle with a lot of vignetting. I assume that a 10mm fish will also leave heavy vignetting as well. Since these are primes, unlike the 10-20, you can't crank it back and lose the vignetting.

These are specialty lenses so I'm not sure how well they'll sell. I'd guess the 4.5 will sell around $800, while the 10mm sells for about $600.

As for me, I guess I'll continue to wait for a 8mm f2.8 rectilinear prime which would be like a 14mm f2.8 rectilinear lens for FF's.

Pretty cool...that 10mm fish will be great. You'll really be able to make a subject "pop" when it's nearly touching the front glass :D
