I want to mount my camera at my bird feeder and take pictures. My Olympus has a small IR that is good for about 8 feet.........bird feeder is 50ft away. Any sugestions on some kind of creative deal that might work?

Without knowing what kind of camera model you have, you won't get much detailed advice. Besides, we are mostly Canon users here. Have you tried an Olympus forum?
