I found that the bords were generally not as tame as is made out, certainly I had to use some stealth to get as close as I did to the heron (most tourists tower over the birds, compact out at full stretch, and off flies the bird!). Luckily in this case we were on a beach, where you can wander at will and take you time. The boobies were the least disturbed of all the birds, sitting right next to the trails, unmoved by tourists. http://natureimmortal.blogspot.com

The Sea Lions too were unmoved by people, even with babies a day old. Swimming with them was a real experience! Lots more to be processed yet! Nice one, Neil. Can't wait to see 'em! Anke
