Also, be sure your fonts are open source or freely available so that you don't draw potential lawsuits. Not likely, but it has happenned.

I would listen to there advice but possibly ask him for a range he is willing to spend or offer him a price and see what is reaction is, if it is too high possibly knock it down a bit.

If he owns several large bars I would start kinda high because bars make good money

I just want to thank everyone for the advice that I have received.
Am going to have a meeting with the owners in the coming week to discuss a possible contract signing to be flown down and shoot special events in the area.

There's a terrific program called fotoquote (www.fotoquote.com (external link)) that will tell you everything you need to know. It's the industry standard. Just punch in the use that you're looking for and it will give you a range of numbers to consider. Trying to estimate commercial jobs without fotoquote is like trying to shoot a photo without a camera.
