which too keep

my main camera is a 5d. Love it, use it everyday for most things. I also have a 10d as a backup and a loaner for the wife. Yesterday a colleague gave me a 1d classic body, w/o a charger. after searching through the forum i have concluded that keep it would be an upgrade to the 10d but should I?

I can either keep the 1d and by a charger and extra battery for $300+, give the 10d to my dad
or
keep the 10d cause it costs nothing and the batteries are compatible with my 5d and sell the classic.

Keep all 3. Give the 10D to your dad and the wife gets the classic. That way you get access to them all.

1D foir around $300 is great....I sold my old one for over $700 less than 2 months ago (wish i hadn't).


the 1Dino is an incredible camera and has a superior AF to any camera besides other 1D's - IMHO

Some might disagree

Save your money for the 5D II or whatever it'll be called!
