Yes, i feel it is what the sky looked like to me, had a nice clear day but very cold.

while the jet is the main point of the photo, your unlikely to get a jet this big banking steeply close to the ground, i sometimes wonder if the sky is rather bland, a few clouds in the background may have helped? ( cannot decided myself )

what do people think ?

ps...this was just cropped a little ( a very little ) and resized to fit my web site requirements.
taken with a 40D + 70-200mm is f2.8 at 160mm f8 iso 400.

I think the sky is that colour in autumn with the low sun. How busy is Brize Norton these days?
