question about pic to cd

Hope this is the correct fourm to ask this.
I burned my pictures to a CD-R on my computer. The disc will play in my dvd player for my TV but the disc wont play in my computer DVD. I just cant figure it out.
I an able to play discs I used to backed up pictures long ago and they play just fine.
Is there a setting I need to change?
I burned the cd-r using "Windows Media Player"
