Images taken with my D60 have a circular dark spot at the top left of every image. The spot is something like 80 pixels in diameter, and is subtly darker than the surrounding photo. The "character" of the spot is quite similar to that of the rest of the image -- viewed at 400% you can see some of the .jpg artifacts, etc. It's most noticeable when shooting against seamless (gray) paper -- stands out like a nail pop on wallboard.
Spot has appeared somewhat recently, have had the camera a couple of months.
Tried two different lenses; same spot, therefore suspect the camera.
Is this most likely dust or a spot on the sensor, or a defect within the sensor?
Anyone heard of or experienced something similar? Thanks in advance for any info.
