A friend of mine ,who has a CanonXTi and a 430ex is experiencing this problem :
Whenever the flash is put on the body ,and turns on the camera ,the ettl function is not appearing,However ,if he turns the flash on FIRST-then the camera ..all is well.
Can someone please tell me if they have the same issue,or can there be some communication problem with either the body{xti} or theflash.
I've treid this with my 40D and all seems to work well.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
