Just before the ipod

Got a new flash yesterday; the 580 EX-II and was playing around with it to get a feel for its capabilities. So far, I'm really happy with it!

I tried a basic two sided , 25 watt hot lights for mood and the 580 to bring out the frontal detail...used an old T-shirt as my backdrop too!

some sort of old/odd radio?
for sure not a mp3 player... at least not video one

It's an old AM table radio from around 1970, battery powered and with a cool world globe with time divisions that can aid one in determining the time around the world.

It still works too!

My tittle of this thread was a tongue in cheek look at how folks used to listen to the music portably 35+ years ago compared to how we do things these days.
