I took these last year and thought i would upload them for C&C

Blue Tongue Skink - my neighbours one escaped into our garden so photo shoot opertunity :D

Great detail!

That blue-tongued skink shot is amazing! I tried for probably an hour one time to catch a blue-tongue's tongue out. The closest I came was slightly parted lips. Lots of pictures of a closed-mouthed skink, though.

LOL - i know what you mean. the best tip i can give you is to try and take photos of them with their mouth SHUT and you will get them with their tounge out, because if you try it the other way round by the time you have seen their tounge out and pressed the button they have closed their mouth again.
