Does anyone have this lens? If so, would it be possible for you to post 100% cropped samples of the corners on edges taken on a full-frame camera? I have found the review on digital-pictures.com, but there are not too many other examples floating around on the web. Thanks.

There are a few FF pics on the first page, didn't look at the other ones. But, anyone who owns this lens will have a FF body anyways...

Thanks. That was helpful. I'm trying to decide between these two lenses (14mm II and the 16-35 II). I'm tired of slushy corners on UWA, and thus that would be a major criterion.

The problem with version 1 is CA and flare. I would bet that the MK II of this lens will be much better at handling that. I would get one in a heartbeat but, I feel the 16-35 II is plenty wide for my needs. Although, if you know how to compose with a UWA prime like the 14mm 2.8, you shouldn't have that problem at all. I do real estate so, I never shoot @ 16mm. I tend to shoot mostly at 20-21 mm. Hope that helps.

The 14L II looks great.

Tim,

Thanks. I've already looked at the digital-picture review. I was hoping for other opinions/examples.

If you are going for really wide, the 14mm is already the best option unless you can get the good copy of the 12-24, which is the only available 12mm AF for canon. :)
