Seems like Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year doesn't it? ;)

Nice shots with beautiful light. You look to do well with your gift, hope she gets something special as well.

Thanks Brad,
Yeah I am going to try and get her something special, she has a few things on her list and is very heavily in to scrapbooking.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks Trevor
yeah I am certainly trying to force the learning curve, So far I am pleased with the results, the Sigma 70-300 DG Macro I had, taught me good lens etiquette, having my first IS lens is a big help also, especially at 400mm
Happy Thansgiving.

I have been waiting for this lens for a while now, of course I wish I had it sooner but, having to wait this long has made me appreciate it more.
it is a very capable lens and I'm very much looking forward to getting some great shots with it.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Thank you for viewing and posting comments, yeah she is great, I love her to death, I wouldn't have it anyway.
As far as opening it early she couldn't take it any longer, she figured being as I knew what I was getting, I may as well have it early and get some use out of it.;)
