Hi all
I apologise if this has already been covered but I couldn't find it in a search. I'm wondering how ACR calibration and white balance settings interact. If I calibrate ACR to my camera using the "correct" WB (e.g. using my expodisc) will that mean that so long as I get the WB right under any lighting conditions ACR's colour rendition will still be "correctly" calibrated?
I have noticed that ACR's colour response for my 30D is generally under-saturated. Most of the time this doesn't bother me as I can always adjust in post, but reds can occasionally be really off. DPP is better, but drives me nuts. Being able to calibrate once and then just worry about WB would be terrific.
cheers
