I rather like the first one. I think because of the color saturation it gave it a very art feel verses a picture in the fields. Just My Opinion

Very nice....Your pic goes right along with the title :)

really? nah, i think the title is off on this picture. nothing there to let me know she is widowed. the title of this shot could be anything.

i disagree with the title being appropriate.

ncie shot regardless!

As per request, more detail in the hair and dress. Desaturated. Sorry, but I can't do anything about the slight "smirk".

Very nice Ed, it gives it a very cold feel. As if she was the direct reason why shes a widow....dun dun dun!

I guess the black overcoat, pale skin, dead fall, and sense of coldness and isolation didn't convey that message very well then. "widow" was the first word to pop into my mind when I first reviewed the shot. Oh well, back to the old drawing board...

Putting aside for the moment your fantastic PJ work, this is if not your best, certainly one of the best shots I've seen from you. Absolutely wonderful.

Why shouldn't the title work as part of the picture? Without it, it's just a very nice shot of a pretty girl in a long coat. However, you tell me she's a widow, and a whole bunch of other questions open up: Is she smiling? What is she looking down at? How did she become The Widow? All in all, very impressed.
