Since it is already the week-end in places of this world, I'll move ahead and choose the topic... CONSUMERISM, any interpretation is welcome!

I've got a long weekend off to do just exactly what I want to and so no excuses for me, especially with such a 'flexible' theme ...

Hmmm - I have a few from a similar theme this weekend - this one is easy (because I just tossed them on a stool in the studio) but the next pic I will have to wait a couple of hours for...

um - I haven't. The objects in the first shot were left over from last Christmas and I dragged them out for the photo. The roof lights are on the neighbours place and he spent most of yesterday putting them up. The front of his house looks very good - I may wander around for a pic sometime. One of my other neighbours was putting his house lights up today - I think there is a neighbourhood competition.

Talk about early -- the supermarket where I do food shopping put up Christmas decorations two weeks ago.

Nice shots so far.

I did my share of shopping this weekend and here is some visual evidence of the fruits of my labor. We decided to get a fake tree this year for Christmas and of course we had to go big. But is this too big?

Nope - you have managed to hold it at 800px on the longest side ;)

Nice looking tree.

I got a haircut and shot this ... the two incidents are not related in any way! i am realising that St Albans is not a target rich environment.

John -- Party Poppers! Let the games begin! Come to think of it, I never saw any before. Are they firecrackers or do goodies pop out of them?

Crissa -- Because I live in a rural area, I'm always momentarily surprised by city shots with all the cars and people. I looked at yours for a long time.

Dave -- Another shot evoking mystery, like the one with the stage door sign. The mystery ends with a... a.... a Subway! Yummmm.

"Consumerism" makes me think of all the trash that it generates. So I looked for trash.
