I just bought a new Canon 580ex2, on the LCD panel on the lower left side there seems to be a brownish area that looks like its burned. Has anybody else noticed this on there flash?
Should I send it back to Adorama for replacement?

RickHulshof Member 177 posts Joined Oct 2004 Location: Stratford, On More info | Nov 22, 2007 10:15 | #2 Its really up to you - with LCD (liquid crystal displays) sometimes the membranes get compressed and when that happens you get colorization on the display - it normally doesn't affect the life of the lcd - but if it bugs you send it back.
