She's in a new show but I don't know what it is called.

I've seen the ads, but I can't remember what the show is called, either. I haven't checked it out yet... Gotta set the DVR one of these days.

it's called Samantha Who. I've never seen it (but it's on after dancing with the stars, which I do watch)

I've had my eye on a pair of Salomons for a while now. I just can't get myself to spend that kind of money on shoes.

Get 'em! They're worth it. The cross trainers I have now are Salomons. I'm on my third pair (since 2002). I'm hard on hiking shoes too, but these things last forever. My first two pair logged at least a thousand miles each...

O' course, it's easy for me to suggest it. All of my Salomons were free. I got them with my REI dividends.

I have a pair of Salomon's I picked up years ago from a discount rack in a local outdoors store. I love them to pieces, but they have holes in them now and I need something a little better looking!

No, that's Christina Applegate. Crissa and I were talking about Laura Prepon (Donna from That 70's Show). She has a new show now, but we can't remember what it's called.

This calls for some serious Salomon pondering.

the cheapest I've found for the ones I want is around 100-120 or so.

I've had mine about 4 years or so.

Except for my 1 pair of tennis shoes and my annual pair of Timberland work boots. I spend a lot on the few pairs of shoes I own. I spend a few hundred dollars on a good pair of shoes or boots and they literally last me 3-5 years with moderate use and a decade with infrequent use. My dress shoes will last a lifetime as rarely as I dress up. The one thing that has me torn is my riding boots. I had them custom made by Der-Dau for the cost of a decent lens and I bet I only get 3 years out of them before something has to be done. Parts of the uppers are getting really worn and the brambles tear them up.I wonder what it would cost to repair them if even possible. There are much cheaper riding boots but they feel soooo nice.

There's a place in town that sells the higher class shoes. Maybe I'll wander in and check things out.

I take it that flip flops aren't the best idea for riding shoes, then, huh?

The most I ever spent for a pair of shoes was $650. In 1984... Can anyone here beat that?

Just watched an older movie, Chocolate. It was not too bad.
