Looks like a sad end to some Royal Navy aircraft ~ wing section visible?

Re the Robins ~ well caught. I spotted a much happier pair making nooky in the garden yesterday morning. We had baby Robins fledging in the garden last year but I could find the nest site :(

It was from the Royal Navy.

Quiz: What is inside the skip?

Part of the tail section from an unfortunate RN Lynx Helicopter?

Really nice shots. We'll have to take a visit down there sometime.

Nanscombe, sorry no, but a really good try.

Discovered some news about the multi-millionaire Max Mosley- the head of the FIA (Formula 1 etc) and he's got himself into a bit of a knot so to speak....

Did anyone see any April 1st jokes in the media? I didn't see one, unless I'm getting stupider in my old age?!

I didn't read any news papers this morning. I just had to endure Lorraine Kelly's weak stunt this morning on GMTV.

No, but then neither I nor the deer were near any of the lakes/ponds. Place could have been swarming with 'em for all I know.
