That has got to be the worst, most annoying advert on TV at the moment!! You must not watch as much TV as me ;)

Haha, I only saw it this evening, I guess I will grow to hate!

Enlighten me. I've met so many forum members I forget who is who sometimes without much attention.

Where was it?

A medieval house close to the centre of Canterbury.

:o

That makes sense then. Congrats to your dad for the pic in the POTN book - I saw that weevil thing, showed me also when I was at your house. :)

How's the band playing coming along?

Maybe it is time I joined in on this South-East thread. Even if it is only to keep an eye on my offspring! You are being watched sonny!

Warren, every other picture in the POTN book seems to be one of yours.
Well done!

Maarten

No, for me it is just the macro shot. I did enter a few others but they were not of sufficient quality to get through the selection process.

I have not had much time recently, neither for shooting nor posting. Work gets in the way a bit too much sometimes but hey..... I shouldn't complain as it allows me to buy new toys every now and then. I have added a 300mmm 2.8 since we last met.:)

Thank you Anke. Should I read back in this thread to experience the bad behaviour?

Yeah I noticed that new lens in your signature!
I had a look at a 500 4.5 Sigma and 300-800 Sigma also. Well out of my league at the moment - if I want to travel a bit over the next couple of years

Keep the 300 away from me. It's a great lens I know, but not exactly what I need.
All I need now is a macro and a super telephoto and I think I'm sorted for the next few years. I've bought the Sigma 12-24 since last time.
