Ergh I need to actually go shopping today. Need to hunt for a Cokin P ND Grad. No where local has it. Ah the bummer. Looks like the blue grad will have to do.

I think I mentioned this earlier, but I ordered a couple ND grads from warehouse express on the 19th of May and was told they were out of stock. Still haven't received a message saying they've been sent, so I guess all I'm saying is don't order from them if you need em right away

Oh man, I remember you saying. I should order mine online. Im phoning a few stores now and they have no idea what im talking about. Oh wait, this Jessops has one for under £10. Lady is checking for one on 77mm diameter and no....67mm only.

This is pretty tricky. Just checking with Jacobs now. They have a ND2 (£17) but no ND4 and ND8.

I would rather have the ND4.

Maybe she had a screw on filter or something she was talking about? I don't know if they even make those, but I would assume so.

If you manage to find a place in London that carries them let me know! I ordered these two:

Gradual Grey G2 Medium (ND4) Ref. 121M
Gradual Grey G2 Soft (ND8) Ref. 121S

but if I can walk in somewhere and pick them up I can always cancel my order as it seems to be taking forever.

Well as soon as this battery is charged, im heading towards Kensington Jessops to go have a look rather than take their advise over the phone. That way, I can go drop in some film for processing too.

Mem cards SHOULD be here by tomorrow, no ideas about my What The Duck shirt.

Cool, that's where I bought my camera last year. Nice enough staff (when you're paying that kind of money anyways ) but I didn't really ask them any questions so I can't comment on their knowledge.

I presume if your WTD shirt doesn't arrive that you have an alternative option? We'll attract enough attention without one of us also being topless

Well I usually evaluate a store by how quickly they come to my attention. I walk in with the 5D in my hand with hood pointing out and 24-105L mounted and go straight to the lens section.

If I get approached within the first two or three minutes get asked if I need help, it sounds like they know ill burn money and just try to sell me something than answer my questions.

Anything between four to five minutes of me looking at lenses, I hoped to be asked if I am ok or need any help.

Nothing scientifically about that test but it helps you to pick out the people who are there to make a sale and who are there for the passion of cameras and photography.

Right im going to head on out now. Sooner I go, sooner I come back. Camera and pepto bismal. What a combo.

My Sony Ericsson w910i arrived today also but camera is poo I thinks I might try out some street photography tonight, either that we Wii around some more.

Might go pickup the ND grad tomorrow if I can. Hate being ill since I just want to shop!

er??? how are you gonna attach the ND filter to your sony ericsson? i didn't know they make filter holders for that camera nowadays?

I AM HOPELESS with these dates. I was told not to miss this airshow, and had no idea it was on so soon in summer! I would love to go myself... But may not be possible.
Might not be home Friday night, hungover at a friends place by Saturday morning.

And Sunday is the meet obviously

if you REALLY can't make Bigginhill, there's always RIAT altho further from london and a tad more expensive but i think it'll be nicer as there's more jets and the F22 will be there!!!
i'm going to that one as well and i got my tickets a long time ago!
