You need a Z for UWA on FF or 1.3 crop

Yup, Z system are for larger lenses. Plus this does not have a standard filter screw as the lens protrudes outwards.

Aha - I had a look at Z for my stuff but they seem a little harder to come by and the P all seems to work ok, even on the 24-70 with the 82mm thread.

Well in NW London, looks like it will hammer down with rain anytime soon. Im sure you didn't miss much. You could relive it with your helicam  (was that a useless attempt?) :(

I was too lazy as well, and I never trust weather reports except they are generally a day late, means poo weather tomorrow if it was suppose to be bad today

Hehehe as it happens I've been testing the heli quite a bit .... scared my rear-end off when I saw a police helicopter over our house about 10 minutes into flying ....

Fortunately it just slowly flew over our house and disappeared ... thought someone had reported seeing a UFO near their homes (although I never fly over anything but our garden) :p

*phew*

Here's one of the test shots I took:

I sense someone is trying to jinx tomorrow. Good news for me, my car is being picked up for scrap tomorrow which means a handy £75. Not much but spending money for Germany. :)

I should still be there on time. They are coming 9am. David, that is so cool. Bit crooked ;)

i need to sort out my traveling arrangements for tomorrow, I suppose I have to go to Victoria, prob drive to Haywards Heath station,

Are we actually meeting in some where or just around the station?, would it not be better to meet in a bar or coffee shop as I sure some waiting will have to be done?

Just got back from Biggin Hill. Great show, lots of fun, and I was in a right state.

Been awake since 4am Friday morning, when I was woken by text messages from NZ.
Last night ended up in Hampstead for drinks, (Darren - mellow-d came along), then off to Camden, then Farringdon, before back to Hampstead after sunrise at 5am. Walked to tube station at 6:30am, station was closed due to escalator fault, had to catch bus to Belsize Park, another tube to Charing Cross, train to Welling...
10min later, after a shower and changed, picked up by my uncle and driven to Biggin Hill.

Traffic was really bad getting in. Fortunately I was at the start of it, so only held up by 30min.

Met Neal, and he was held up a couple of hours!

So, been awake for 38 hours, somehow managed to shoot aircraft today with my eyes half shut, but it's all been good fun. Hope to see some of you tomorrow.

Very fair point actually. Sadly there is not many shops local, you have to venture into the shopping complex. There is a little cafe/bistro immediately right as you walk out of the station which might be somewhere to wait. Not sure what time it opens.

Im happy for people to have my number so they can contact me when they arrive. Im sure people will recognise each other or the equipment.

If it is open at 11-12, yeah, sounds great. Ill try and get there first and have a POTN table. If the weather is nice, be outside. :)

I'm pretty sure that from Haywards Heath you can get the train into London Bridge station. Then from there you can get the Jubilee line round to Canary Wharf.
Not sure if this makes your plans any easier? :)

No sense and unfortunately not enough money.
