Its not the quality, it is the vignetting factor. When I tried Warren's 17-40L with a 3 slot filter holder, at 17mm you get noticeable vignetting from the holder. I had to shear 2 slots from my filter holder to stop it from doing so.

Yes the Cokin holder does vignette badly and had never tough about it enough i guess.
I also never use more than 1 slide at a time.

Thanks for the info i will take a look at the Lee system.

Though you should be using either Zpro or Xpro for really wide angle, there is problems there

:o I don't get what you don't get:o

I'm guessing that you think these prices are for Farnborough??? well, they're not.... these are for the RIAT airshow at RAF Fairford.

Or am I guessing wrong???

I only see references to Farnborough Airshow here:

Sounds good since I can pick you up en route or whatever. Might take the day off if I can to make the most of it.

If you're looking for a good rumour page about the new 5D etc click here: http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/cameras/Canon_5d2_3d_7d.html (external link)

Hmm I'm a little puzzled by this:

"Is the 40D about to be 'supplemented' with a low end FF camera that will take EF-s lenses?"

EF-S lenses cannot work on a full-frame sensor as the image circle they produce is too small ..... isn't it?

David :)

PS. Just had a bill for £247 from the Inland Revenue to cover my earnings through aerial photography since 2006 (as I recently stated to them how much I've earnt) .... bang goes my new Gitzo I was looking at

Now I'm getting confused:lol: The following is how it started for The Royal International Air Tattoo...

Which is the best ticket to get for RIAT? I'm confused by all the options!

Thanks :)

David

adam LC wrote in post #5795377 (external link)
Just get one of these 3 options, the rest of the options aren't worth the extra, plus I think they're sold out anyway. I got the Sat or Sun ticket for 37.50 cos i didn't know when I was going, probably sunday. btw, pay at the gate is £45:eek:
