When I tried Warren's 17-40L with a 3 slot filter holder, at 17mm you get noticeable vignetting from the holder. I had to shear 2 slots from my filter holder to stop it from doing so. Yes the Cokin holder does vignette badly and had never tough about it enough i guess.
