I would love to take pictures of my car only if i was old enough to drive lol

Welcome :)

And now for the pathetic.
Was at Bluewater this evening and noticed this young couple taking a close up photo of their baby in pram doing something adorable, as babies do..... Only to literally have some woman security rush over (like almost running) and very forcefully said no photos of babies! WTF?!
The point and shoot camera was like 1 foot away, clearly not taking pics of the mall, or other people, just inside the pram. The young couple were a bit shocked, as expectedc:rolleyes:

Or was this the misguided notion of "who is that taking pictures of babies in public......!"

There was an item in the Daily Mail during this week though I did not read all of it the bit that caught my eye was about a chap who driving along saw a very young (toddler) girl wandering alone, it turns out she later fell into a pond and perished. He (the driver) reflected on the thought that he had considered turning round to stop the child and find out where her parents were but in that moment of consideration thought better of it because of the potential for misunderstanding...........what a damned sad world we find ourselves in that the public looking out for the welfare of the wandering child is/can be immediately misconstrued as paedophilia. For the record on the face of the current situation I would likely be of the same view as that driver, there has been much (rightly?) made of "stranger danger" but I was under the impression that most children are abused by or within their closest family circle ~ as evidenced by two cases of child neglect jsut this week. As I say what a sad state of affairs.

:(

I'm not in the least bit surprised about the Bluewater security making a fuss though. They all think they're police officers and have the right to do whatever they please, it seems like it's also part of their job description to walk around as though they have footballs under their armpits.... why do shopping centre security do that? In reference to an '80s animation called The Centurions, I imagine the Bluewater security putting their utility belts on before work and shouting "POWEEEEERRRRRR EXTREEEEEEEEEME!!!!"

Hi everyone, I have just got back from the south of France - 650 mile drive today...I'm knackered!!!! I see that there are about 58 pages since my last visit 2 weeks ago. I haven't read any of it...probably 50 pages of Mitesh spam anyway! :p:p

I had a very nice time in Provence, it was unusually hot there and reached about 35 degrees most days and only rained on the first 2 days. The rest was bloody hot! I did manage to take over 1000 photos and will spend a few days/weeks to sort through them!

Cheers. It was great to get away. I love that area of France and never want to come home. I'm not looking forward to returning to work on Monday though - I've been off for 2 months with my injury and holiday.

Yeah, I saw that I had lost lost a position in the posting lists to Souporman - he seems to have had a run!
