July, Sussex Downs College, Kings Drive, (The Main Hospital) £4-00 Admission, under 14s Free for the younger looking bunch in here :p then maybe a walk along the coast after, if the tide is out Eastbourne not bad, loads of rocks up from the pier....

Hmm I just looked at the meta of this shot, and I am quite impressed with myself, considering I had /got a sinking cold shivers shakes blah blah

Hand held F8 1/125 ISO 400 a 180mm Prime, I might add this has only been cropped like 10%, this thing could have almost crawled up the lens hood :( was using a fill flash as well, with a thingy over it, white plastic,, cannot think of its name

... in the garden on a flower pot ...

Looks like he got some orange peel on his nose.

So, there is now one, or possibly two, places available again for the Cat Survival Trust Photo Day on 20th July. Full details here so anyone interested then let me know. Cost £26 for the day including lunch with all cash going to the Trust.

Thanks
If you talking the Hornet, Hand held F8 1/125 ISO 400 a 180mm Prime, had a fill flash with difuser, and was manually focusing got a few shots of it in different poses.

LOL, thought you meant F stop, it is a Hornet I think they are like 5/10 times bigger than a wasp, and 100 times nastier if you upset it

MaDProFF - Of course I meant F stop - WTF else could I have meant?

I was surveying on the Yorkshire Moors once - I seemed to become a taget for Hornets on one particular day - I abandoned the survey from that location for the day.

Ain't seen no Hornets around this location though lately.

LOL,,, F, 4 letters last is K,,,, get my drift :)

I not sure I would want to be around a few of them, we had a nest last year somewhere around next door garden, had one a day come in house, they are docile and slow until you rattle them, he got rid of nest, but I think there is another one this year, but further away, only seen like 4 in house so far this year.

I have seen some really massive ones scary like
