Welcome back Anke.

I've had a right crap day at work, and decided I need a new job. The last day of the quarter and co workers messed up the potential of getting our usual bonus. Instead we get 0%! So no L lens next month or paying for a flight to NZ :o

Welcome back Anke.

Thanks, Warren. Already thinking about the next trip, either Cotswolds (wife's choice) or Portugal (wife's choice, hmmm something wrong here) this time. I'm desperate for a nice shot of a Hoopoe! :)

Well Vaio just came to pick up their melted laptop. Well DHL, not Vaio. Was a bit worried since the courier got here just before quitting time.

I got an A2 print of one of my Provence photos delivered today. I'm impressed with the speed of service - photo taken on Friday, ordered Sunday and delivered today. The quality of the print is excellent too. (I used photobox (external link)btw!)

I think your 85L is underperforming. I can happily test it out further over a longer time period of 10 years on my 5D if you wish...

I agree should expect 600%, rather impressive resolving power though, if only I could take a decent photo

Looking at it, it will just take some getting used to. I was unimpressed with it when I first tried it but after a few more attempts, became more and more usable. Still thinking about this or something longer.
