Nice shots, Scuff! Really nice. Sounds like the day started badly for some, hope the M3 is ok, Scuff.

First I've heard of anyone taking their central heating system to a wildlife park too, Mitesh :D

Any more anyone?

Seems like the Mk3 is dead, I've tried cardiac massage, speaking to it softly, shouting at it, dropping it on the other side. Nuffin... Not a sausage... Bug&$* all.....

Ah well Looks like the 1dsII is gonna work very hard tomorrow at Dunsfold.

I'll let the insurance know and probably drop it in to Elstree for hopefully a quick CPS turn around.

Still, it didn't ruin the day, I really enjoyed meeting up with you all.

Swaff also had a go and so did his wife with the G9. It has sold me over for its macro abilities.

Looks like one mean spidey! Great work. Im starting on mine now :D

What a great day you seem to have had. And lovely group shot.

Would've been there, if I hadn't already made family plans some weeks ago for Chessington today! (which was pretty fun in itself, and got some decent tiger shots - but my 120-300 gets worse and worse each time. Focus just keeps jamming, and autofocus only works 10% of the time.. Having to manually turn the wheel, but still mostly nothing happens, unless I grip it tightly, and hold lens in downward angle :o)

Well, heres a start. Not many animals just yet but I will get to it slowly. This was a fantastic place and an even better challenge for me since I have never shot anything like this at all. The longest lens I have ever used was a 70-200 so today was a good experience. It also gave me a great chance to test out my new 24-70L. Thanks David for organising this!
