Hi All

As remarked over in the "other thread" many thanks to the Hogster for organising such a great day out.

I will pop back later to review all your images as I can hear a club hammer and chisel calling for my attention and tiles needing removing........:D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Met up with Hogster today at Dunsfold.

I got wet early on but the day later gave us great cloud formations to set the aircraft against.

Busily downloading quite a few 17m/pixel images, but here is a taster.

The last shot of the day... an image of Hogster taking a shot of a departing Hurricane. 1DsII 16-35f2.8L

I'll post some of the flying shots on the thread on the transport forum.

Dang you really nailed that shot Graham! Composition, timing, focus, lighting - 10/10!!

I haven't processed any of my airshow pics yet, but for the sake of continuity (and so it appears on the same page!!), here's the shot I got whilst Graham was photographing me :)

I thought that would be a good one, the light was gorgeous.

Everyone except us had gone, and they missed the best part of the day.

Well worth running down to the flight line for David.

Hi Hogster & Scuff

Nice crossover pair of images and you say the light seemed to have come good right at the last knockings. Looking forward to seeing the rest soonish

:)

PS It looks Juz was outside somewhere he has posted some good ones of the Typhoon.

I've just done the initial 'sift' through my 3258 airshow photos, and spookily I've chosen 325 images to process! Exactly 10%! My biggest problem was blurred shots when panning, as I was often shooting around 1/200s at 400mm for prop aircraft / helicopters .....

Will process them tomorrow - am rather tired now having been up since 7:30am, and at the site from 9am to 7pm! :p

G'night!

David :)
