Met up with Hogster today at Dunsfold.

I got wet early on but the day later gave us great cloud formations to set the aircraft against.

Busily downloading quite a few 17m/pixel images, but here is a taster.

The last shot of the day... an image of Hogster taking a shot of a departing Hurricane. 1DsII 16-35f2.8L

QUOTED IMAGE

I'll post some of the flying shots on the thread on the transport forum.

Scuff, that's a fine portrait! love it.

Hogster, that's great too. Try 1/320th for prop aircraft. You're about right for the helicopters.

I had to work the weekend just gone, so I made the most of working at LegoLand ..

Also made a girl guide to go with a scene me and another landscaper set up. A bull crashing through a fence chacing two people, the guide is to the right pointing out the carnage!!!

Hi Hogster & Scuff

Nice crossover pair of images and you say the light seemed to have come good right at the last knockings. Looking forward to seeing the rest soonish

:)

PS It looks Juz was outside somewhere he has posted some good ones of the Typhoon.

Last couple from me (just so we do not bore you all). Managed 170 good quality shots for 'the customer'. So that should pay for any repairs to the MkIII.

Eurofighter Typhoon. Canon 1DsmkII - 500mm F4Lis - Hand held.

Wow I think those typhoon shots are the best i have seen even the commercial air to air stuff.

Considering it is painted in low low visibilty grey enough to fould up autofocus.
Didn't fool you though.

Very impressive.

Just noticed that's the two seat trainer as well.

After Brett decided to start scanning some film in, I thought I would too. :)

This was shot some time ago. ISO400 Ilford XP2 @ 200DPI using a HP C4180 scanner/printer.

No real PP here. Whites are bit washed out but I can work on that.

Nice ^^^^ I going move onto the Ilford BW film next, as something tells me that it is a lot better than the dodgy Tescos film and their processing,,,,,,,Bit nervous though developing it myself,

Great air/seal/lego shots.
As some of you know I went to Port Lympne today to take some Gorilla photos;
I've got loads to sort and will post tomorrow, and will write a review of the day.
I would share one now;
Taken with 1DMkIIN and 400 f/2.8 + some fill flash.

Mitesh - Looks good :) Although the blacks seem rather crushed? Anything you can do about that or has it happened at the developing stage?

Neal - Hehe that's one laid-back seal! :D Love it :)

Richard - Abso-flipping-lutely stunning!! :eek: The 400 F2.8 is one heavy-ass lens but it produces incredible results! :cool: Looking forward to the rest :)

David :)
