I just got an email that the Sony Alpha manager is coming to the office on Sept 17th (same the day Canon make an announcement)

Hopefully brings some goodies for me to faf around with.

Is that an official announcement date Mitesh from Canon, or just about photokina?

Yeah, I am sure if they are not going to update the 5D, they must bring something out to replace it to fill that hole in the line up, though I bet anything announced will not be available much before xmas

Im not too fussed. There are plently of options on the market right now and I get what I want when I need it, I don't like waiting. My job is not on the line if a better body comes out and my hobby is not less enjoyable either way.

Still very interested to see what becomes available. Possible a 3D
