I have a vague memory of there being a bike with a rotary engine??? Though it may have a concept one off at the time!

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Glad my little grey cells are still working if only without the fine detail for some subjects ;)

I remember when it was called a Wankel engine after the inventor, oh how that went down without a giggle at school:)

Had to do abit of digging, but remembered Steve Spray and Trevor Nation racing the Rotary Norton's in their hayday of the late 80's early 90's in their all black John Player Special colours.

Met police had a couple for a bit, and I believe the military police also used them too.

Hi All,

That's not the only rotary engined motorbike, there was also the Suzuki RE5 Rotary, see http://www.suzukicycles.org/RE5/RE5-Rotary.shtml (external link).

I don't know which bike it was but I'm sure I remember my dad pointing one out in the window of a Car showroom near Canterbury West station about 30 years ago.

Regards
Nigel

Wazza, I will look forward to see more posts like your ones you sampled. Very good all of them.

Would be keen to seen some temple and Budda shots and lots of colour and street life. Never been to Thailand myself.

Friend of mine paid £30 at the London Camera Exchange on The Strand for a full clean, picked it up an hour later.

MaDProFF, ah yes the RX-8, well known for its odd engine and being a car most favoured by hairdressers! ;)

I like the odd angles, quite odd and interesting.

Hairdressers, must have missed that one then, and I must look really odd in it, as I don't have any hair no more
