I think some of the guys cheated around here. Saturday morning sounded like a war going on, an hour before daylight. ;)

Better in the Woods than the Highway, I saw one taken out on 94 by Black River Falls Wed. before season. A mess, 70 MPH in the middle of the Highway

HAHAHA, I bet. We live on a bend of a fairly busy highway, right where the speedlimit goes up leaving town. I could live on roadkill if I wanted to go get it. There must be one a week all year long. They try and cross the road right there.

It's great to see the face of the person behind the camera. :-)
I spent a lot of time this summer photographing The Great Northern Diver. The bird in the shot got so used to me that he didn't consider me a threat. Day by day I moved in a little bit closer and moved back if it showed any signs of stress. In the end I could go right up to it and the bird was perfectly calm. Most of the time I of course kept my distance. It’s an amazing feeling when you gain the trust of a wild animal like this.

Not sure I should post my photo as I am unclear if the statutue of limitations has run out in those few states and provinces I had a misunderstanding in. Funny how if it is illegal one place it probably is still illegal in another place, who would have thought and in so many places?

QUOTED IMAGE

We won't tell anyone we saw you here...Illegal, huh??????
