I'll be following this thread closely as I'm thinking about moving from the 17-40L to the new 16-35. :)

Here are a few I did at a wedding earlier this year, I rented this lens to check it out.. Personally, I like the 17-55 IS better...

That's great. I like my 17-55 IS too, but it won't work on a 5D or 1D series camera. :) Hence people's interest.

Nice Photo of th Cat Sebesh,,, though it would have looked better if you had wrapped his tail around the edge of the sink, though with that look on his face, I'd say you end up with nasty scratch

I rented the lens for a trip to Yellowstone. So mad I rented it...now I want to buy one! LOL It is a fantastic lens IMO. It handled lens flare really well. Images were very sharp. I can't wait to own one. No filters used on the lens... just higher f/stops to deepen the blues in the skies. Shot with the 5D.
