I am in the market for a Digital Camera for my leisure time. This is what I am looking for: 1. Pocket size. 2. Optical zoom (the longer the better) 3.Focal lenght equivilant to 28 mm to---4. Capable to shoot in RAW and Manual.5.CF card compatible preferred. Is there such a camera like this?

Nope, at least not from Canon. No Canon P&S models currently in production take CF cards. THe SD series are pocketable easily, but no manual controls or RAW; only the SD8x0 models go as wide as 28 mm EFL. The G9 has RAW and manual controls, but not pocket size or 28 mm EFL. The 570 and above are marginally pocketable, but don't go wide enough and don't do RAW.

many of P&S in the market change memory type to SD due to the size of it.

Combinations 1, 2 bodes a good range of options.. although we're talking 3-4x optical zoom. A high magnitude of optical zoom doesn't correlate well with 'pocketable' for obvious reasons.
3 & 4 severely restricts your options and 5 positively killed it. You won't find one which takes CF. Forget the CF and one of 3 or 4 and we're open for business.

^That or a G series camera. I love how people do no research. They want some perfect camera that doesn't exist.

But working retail, you get these stupid questions all the time then they argue with you that it does exist until they go home, finally learn about the internet and see they're wrong.
