I have just come back from a shoot today when my Canon mark 3 would not let me change the exposure compensation. The rear exposure compensation wheel turned ok but did not change the values.

I switched the camera off and took the battery out then put it back in and turned the camera on... presto all was well again.

Probably better to perform this operation well away from clients!

did you have the on/off button in the second on position?

I know what you are thinking lads, but the camera was set to the second on position.
