Anyone play Call of Duty 4?

flipstyle72 on LIVE - haven't been on in a few days, but usually find me on in the evenings.

I have this thing where I have to play the missions through before I go online to play, gets me some practice without humiliation. I can't seem to get past the battle after the rockets are launched...I play on veteran, these guys are impossible!

I do the same before I play LIVE. But in Regular or Normal mode. Veteran...that's the hardest mode right? I can't remember.

yup which was a mistake for me, because I just got the 360 and Im still not used to this controller ha, but so far I fell in love!

You know the good thing is with you having to get used to playing it on that harder mode, once you do go live you will be that much better.

I used to always start a new game on beginner/easiest mode...but found it only set me up for failure later on. HA...because playing against a live opponent with no mercy is unforgiving.

I played lastnight for the first time this YEAR! (i think i played onthe 30th) Add me once you go Live, I'll show you the online play ropes.

any other POTN members playing, post gamer tags and we can start our own clan.

Just beat the game, man I love that ending!

lol...now can't wait for Rainbow Vegas II!!! You won't see me leave the room for a couple days till I beat the game, then break...then many sleepless night playing live.

I don't know why, but I'm particularly fond of the level where you're a gunner on a AC-130 Spectre Gunship and rain destuction on opposing forces. Yeah, it's not up close and personal like the rest of the game, but they did a great job with that particular sequence. Plays just like the DoD video clip of an AC-130 in Afghanistan that leaked out on to the net a few years ago.

I've played this game through twice so far (owning it about a week and some change) and and still can't get enough. Can't wait to go on-line with it.

Its cause you don't get killed thats why! lol and it's fun to blow stuff up with the Big Guns

I don't play games anymore. After Mario Kart absolutely nothing could match up.

World Of Warcraft lasted 9 months
Bioshock lasted about 3 days (mostly because of WoW)

That's what I like to hear.

Nothing on earth beats the SNES version that's why I've been thinking of repurchasing one simply for MK.

So how have you guys been doing?

Not too long from now, I'll be getting my golden AK-47, but it's gonna be forever until that golden Dragunov. I'm just a terrible sniper.

Got a LAN game going on this saturday. Been messing with cfg files the last couple of days so we are all ready to go. Should be 15 to 20 of us. It'll be good.
