Yeah, got it as part of Orange Box. Played Portal all the way through, dipped into Half Life again, and played a bit of TF2. Its fun, very well done, but COD4 is more my kind of game.

So how have you guys been doing?

Not too long from now, I'll be getting my golden AK-47, but it's gonna be forever until that golden Dragunov. I'm just a terrible sniper.

I'll make Major tonight _ I hope ...

Well I've been rockin' the house tonight. Got another 20 kill streak on Countdown. Don't know why, but I seem to get the most kills by far on that map with my red dot equipped M16. It's like I just can't go wrong. :-D

Does anybody else here play the PS3 version?

Anyway, just started playing again today after about a two week hiatus

Went from level 16-22 in Second Prestige Morde in a couple of hours. Silenced weapons and sniping FTW!!!

My SN is [GSE]BMLK_Donkeypunch just in case anybody might have played with/against me earlier.

I just decided to hit the prestige feature myself last week....it sucked until I got the red dot for m16. The only sniper I like is the 50cal and even then that kinda sucks.

I love the idiots who walk over my dead body when the martyrdom perk is on....ha!

lol, its nice to know from people that have beaten the whole game that the m16 with red dot is STILL the best gun in the game :p. saves me the effort.

yeah with stopping power on, you don't even need a full 3-shot burst to the torso to take someone out.

yeah, say I'm cruising the halls of Vacant, I'll take a SAW or a G36C with stopping power, because when you come up on 2-4 other guys, you're not gonna get enough shots off with the M16.

I have recently successfully used G36C, silencer, Claymore x 2, Stopping Power, Dead Silence.
With above setup I am no heard, I'm not seen in UAV, I make no noise so it is easy to hear everyone else, gun is very steady in bursts, a short burst is enough to kill, and you can snipe from considerable distance. With Claymores you can get frags when dead, too.

If they call in a UAV they still can't see you? I thought you'd need UAV jammer for that. Silencer only keeps you hidden when weapons fired right?

I love the UAv jammer, but I also like martyrdom on to P*ss them off...lol.

Yeah only UAV Jammer will keep you off radar when a recon is called in.

I can only stand the iron sights on a few of the weapons. G36C is bearable, AK-47 is good, P90 is ok, and MP5 is suitable.

Sadly the best iron sights are on the MP44... what a waste!
