LOL...I remember trying the last mission (the plane) on veteran. It wasn't pretty.

My six year old destroyed it.

(The obvious question of course is why is my six year old playing COD4. The obvious answer is that its cheaper than a babysitter!)

for protection of course! Regardless what anti-gun propaganda suggests, the right to bare arms is not referring to "hunting" weapons. But weapons for protection. What better weapon for protection than an assault rifle?!! lol.

I agree, post some pics.

I would prefer the m6. Then you can just "run away!" Very Quickly!

Actually the right to bare arms is probably referring to some anti-T-shirt propaganda.

I'll take some shots when it's back in my hands. I left it with him so that he can install the front grip, new uppers, new trigger, and the red dot sight (once I decide on one). It was $950 for the actual rifle, and the extras (including the sight) will be around $200 all in, and I don't think he's gonna charge me to put them on.

Why own one? Because it's an awesome weapon. Obviously, it's only semi-automatic, but oh well. I wanted an M14 for the power (since it has to be semi anyway), but he said they're near impossible to get, and quite a bit more costly. Plus, he's not sure if I'm allowed to own one in NY. He's got most of the COD4 weapons. AK's, M4's, a .50 cal (my god it's beautiful in person), uh....oh, and he even had a P90. I didn't even check the price on that, though. It had an ACOG type scope on it, too. It was actually the FS P90S, which is the civilian version, but it looked pretty sweet.

See in NY, I can't have flash hiders, bayonnets, etc. Basically, all of the good stuff gets stripped off when you live in NY. I do get a muzzle break, though.

range, private land, game lands, etc. It's legal any ol' place that's not "public". Plus, it'll stay loaded next to me at night.

I might, MIGHT switch it up (since they're the same price) for an AR-15 just for a little accuracy. It's bigger, but more accurate. 20" vs. 16.5.

I don't think a semi-automatic rifle would be my first choice of home-defense weapon ;)

Why's that? Works fine for me.

If you're saying a handgun would be better, you're right (other than power). However, it's not easy to get a handgun permit here.

I was saying a handgun would be better, but your reason certainly makes sense.

An M4 certainly looks scarier than any handgun, too, I suppose ;)
