Ha! I agree. She'll be a heartbreaker.

I like the look in pic 1. She's got a nice smile in pic 2, but there's something about pic 1 I prefer (probably that precocious look!).

She was laughing at my wife in #2, #1 was literally 30 seconds after my wife had re-done her makeup. (I love #1 too!!)

She originally looked like this after finding my wife's makeup in her purse as we were in the next room.

I'm gonna be the lone dissenter. While I think the technical aspect of the shots are fine I'm just not fond of just sophisticated makeup on a 3 yr old. I have a 3 yo girl and I think making them look old beyond their years makes for a sad image. Now if the makeup looked as if the 3 yo got into mommy's makeup and did it herself that's a bit different.

Normally I would agree with you, this was just a bit of fun for her though. She's a 'girly girl' in every sense of the phrase. I was shocked that she didn't run upstairs and grab one of her 'princess' dresses immediately! This is the second time she's gotten into the mascara. The first time we ended up having to repaint the bathroom!!

A friend of mine's daughter got into her red lipstick and tested it out on the WHITE carpet.

Great job on the images.

Being the mother of 4 girls I think it's fun to let them feel "big" for awhile. When I see the smeared mascara, it makes me laugh. My 23 month old is always watching me put on my makeup and I ocassionally put blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow on her. I think the pictures are great, especially #1!

hey its all good I agree you dont want to encourage them to grow up but that is one way of looking at it.. they have no idea whats going on or what it means to wear make up its just a game for them at such a tender age.. some tend to be too uptight about some very trivial things... it was obviously a quick fun game to play when they caught her trying her hand at the make up...

Yes but I would start cleaning the shotgun in the house the 45 in the car and the ankle 38... a couple of axes and a shovel would come in handy too... maybe an electric saw to get rid of the bodies.. :)

I know you just want to scare the boys but some of them might be too persisten.. and no judge would convict you.. so go for it.. lol.. (just kidding)

I'm not saying anything about little girls having fun with mommy's makeup or bad parenting. I was talking about the image itself. The make up is obviously put on by an adult. I was basically saying it would have been a more effective image if the 3 yo had put the make up on herself.

Yea, I don't like it when little girls dress and act all grown up, but this is different. It's the equivalent of boys dressing up as alien-busters or something. It's role-play, and as such it's ok.

We had a long discussion over Thanksgiving about little girls and about how many of my 9 y.o. daughter's classmates have cell phones, iPods, computers, get manicures and wear clothes any teenager should think twice about wearing. It's these stupid shows on tv that corrupt little girls and their parents who feel so guilty about neglecting them all day that they spoil them to absolve their own guilt.

That said, I think #2 would have been a great shot without the makeup :)

I've seen some crazy stuff these kids are wearing, and then I look at their parents.. they're spoiling them because they're not involved with them at all. It's pathetic.

Oh man, let's not transform this thread into the downward moral spiral that today's youth are going through. It's frustrating and depressing enough to see it on TV. . . .or for you British folk, the Tele!!

Don't people usually stop stating someone's age in months after turning 2 years old?
