shows that the zoom is pretty darn sharp, has me questioning the need to ever go to the holy trinity of primes!

Primes > any zoom....I use the 70-200 because the 135 is way too long in studio I need the 85L would be PEREFCT

I love primes but also use zooms. It depends on the job and the shot.

I like the 135mm focal length in the studio for very tight head shots but my favorite for head shots and head and shoulder type shots is the Zeiss 100mm f/2. It's a brilliant lens.
