Interesting Tom - but I can see the blacked out section in the background, be it blackcard or post-process, might want to tidy it up a wee bit. It's showing about an inch all around the body right up to it.

It's very very slight and you do have to look carefully, but it's there.

I've been having issues with my monitor after a string of power outages around here. Someone else pointed out, in another thread, that some of my pics have brightness issues, and I thought I had fixed it. I saw a noticeable difference between the version on my monitor and the camera's LCD, so I'm sure you're right and I'll have to look more into it. Thank you for pointing it out.

whats that white board behind the camera? there's also light stuff on left and right side which are not properly erased or painted.

Oh, I can see it on my computer! It's minimal, but it's not pure black.

When looking at it quickly you don't really notice it. Unless you are a photographer. :p

The non black area is extremely visible on my monitor. After printing some pictures today, areas that had dark detail come out black in prints. Do I just need a brightness or contrast adjustment?
